Yeezy Season 1 Dropped and Its sold out October 31, 2015 – Posted in: In the News, Press – Tags: , , , , ,

For almost two years, Kanye West has made sweeping statements about his plans to be the creative force behind the world’s biggest and best fashion label. Finally, those clothes that will supposedly begin this movement are here. Naturally, Yeezus’s disciples are excited, for this is the day that the question “You ain’t got no Yeezy?” takes on new meaning. They’re also buying the clothes like crazy.

While the collection’s aesthetic influences are obvious—hit up any local military-surplus store and you’ll see similar styles lining the walls—the prices are decidedly upscale, which has been the biggest criticism of Yeezy Season 1. And yet, despite the $400 thermals and $3,500 parkas, since it hit online shops this morning, the collection has had more of a problem staying on shelves than getting off of them. Across the web you’ll find two words that have graced almost every Kanye West–related fashion item ever—”Sold Out.”

Over at End, the collection dropped early this morning, and the first items to go were the least expensive (tees, thermals), followed by the boots (dubbed the 950s). But now almost everything (including the aforementioned several-thousand-dollar parka) is down to a few sizes here and there. Good job Kanye!
